Munich International Ski Club & Flat Sucks GmbH would like to invite you to participate in the Avalanche Course we are organizing during the weekend of 10th-12th November at Stubaier Gletscher.

Since the number of passionate freeriders keeps increasing in the club, we'd like to make sure we are all safe during our ski trips while having fun in fresh powder!

Therefore would encourage you to join us in the Safety Days group training (in English or German, depending on the group preferences, in groups of max. 7 participants per guide):

    • Two evenings of lectures and theory units: One on Friday, November 10th, at 5 pm and another one on Saturday evening
    • Two days of training with certified mountain and ski guides in the Stubaier Gletscher area

We'll be staying at the HOTEL AUGARTEN by Familie Schöpf in Stubai.

    Included in the price:

    • Avalanche course
    • Accommodation in single or double rooms with breakfast and dinner

    Not included:

    • Ski Pass for 2 days (not needed though if you are a Snow Card Tirol holder)
    • Transport is private but we will help organize car sharing. Transport costs are calculated at 40 cents per km, which comes to 160 Euros to be shared among all occupants including driver if travelling from Munich - this is to cover all costs (fuel, road tolls, infringement tickets, operating costs, damage, insurance, depreciation, etc).

Payment terms: Places are only considered reserved once payment has been received in full. Specify at the time of booking your preferences of with whom you want to share a room - eg with the name of your partner, or gender preference, or whatever - and we will do our best but it's not guaranteed. If the trip takes place but you cannot attend for any reason we will do our best to find someone to take your place, and refund anything the club did not have to pay on your behalf minus a 30 Euro cancellation fee (for club members only, one cancelation without cancelation fee per season); beyond that you need to get your own travel insurance. Of course, if the trip cannot or does not take place you will be promptly refunded 100%.

Emergency phone number: A WhatsApp group will be created for the weekend, which you can voluntarily join for communicating with others in the group.

    • Samnaun
    • 25

As our test trip to this hotel was such a success last year, we're going again to Samnaun again for 2 or 3 days skiing (your choice) including the weekend during the peak snow period.

For maximum flexibility in your choice of ski days we're going by private car. Après-ski each day will be at Bar Almrausch, just opposite Hotel Edi where we will have a dinner menu and spend the night. Dinner, accommodation and breakfast is provided for two nights, Friday to Sunday. Dinner is fixed menu and included. A lift day-pass is provided for each of Saturday and Sunday - many people will also choose to ski on Friday but lift pass is not provided.

Hotel Edi is at the bottom of a run and a skibus ride to the main gondola.

Price includes dinner and accommodation Friday and Saturday nights with breakfast the following morning. All rooms are double/twin with a couple of singles. Drinks are not included. Lift pass for Saturday and Sunday are not included in the base price, but are optional when you book at about 10% discount from the regular lift price (5 Euro deposit is included).

Transport is private but we will help organize car sharing. Transport costs are calculated at 40 cents per km, which comes to 160 Euros to be shared among all occupants including driver if travelling from Munich - this is to cover all costs (fuel, road tolls, infringement tickets, operating costs, damage, insurance, depreciation, etc). This adds flexibility (optional skiing on Friday) and is cheaper than a bus (which would be about 95 Euro per person).

Season-pass holders simply don't select the option for us to provide you with a lift pass when you fill out the booking form.

The meeting point is the après-ski or hotel on Friday evening, but of course many people will arrange to meet up to ski together on Friday morning via the WhatsApp group.

This year the Zillertal long weekend trip will be one day longer, allowing for 3 or 4 days skiing including the weekend during the peak snow period, staying in a 4-star hotel in 2person/double-rooms with 3/4 board. The hotel is in the valley between Fügen and Kaltenbach, allowing for access via car or ski-bus to Hochfügen, Kaltenbach, Zell am Ziller, Mayrhofen and others for more variety than staying near just one resort. These are fantastic resorts for skiers and boarders of all levels, with modern gondolas taking you to the top of long red and blue runs, as well as some of the best in-resort and off-piste skiing and boarding in Austria.

For maximum flexibility in your choice of ski days we're going by private car or public transport. The club will help with car-pooling. Après-Ski each day will be at the Hotel Pachmair - where we will also have dinner and spend the night. From the moment the first lift opens the following morning we can ski and board until stumps. Skiing is "officially" Friday-Sunday, but many people will also ski on Thursday. Provisional plan is Alpbachtal on Thursday, Zell am Ziller on Friday, Mayrhofen on Saturday and Kaltenbach on Sunday.

Price includes: Hotel provides breakfast buffet, 5-course dinner with beer/wine/non-alcoholics, afternoon tea/coffee/juice/cake/snacks, wellness area with heated pool, for three nights Thursday to Sunday. A three-day Zillertaler Superskipass is not included in the base price, but is optionally provided at a 5% discount (202 Euro including deposit) when booking.

Transport is private by car or public transport (Uderns in Zillertal), and we will help organize car-pooling. Car transport costs are calculated at 40 cents per km, which comes to 120 Euros to be shared among all occupants including driver if travelling from Munich - this shall include all costs (fuel, road tolls, infringement tickets, operating costs, damage, insurance, depreciation, etc). This adds flexibility (leaving time, optional skiing on Thursday, choice of resort) and is cheaper than a bus (which would be about 65 Euro per person).

Season-pass holders please deselect the option for us to provide you passes when you fill out the booking form.

Payment terms: Places are only considered reserved once payment has been received in full. Specify at the time of booking your preferences of with whom you want to share a room - eg with the name of your partner, or gender preference, or whatever. Emergency phone number: A WhatsApp group will be created for the weekend, which you can voluntarily join for communicating with others in the group.

The meeting point is the hotel on Thursday evening, but of course many people will arrange to meet up to ski together on Thursday morning via the WhatsApp group.
