Celebrate with Dave!
Longtime club member Dave Dowdy is turning 80 years old, and he is inviting the Munich International Ski Club members and friends to celebrate this incredible milestone with him! The party takes place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Waldwirtschaft Großhesselohe (Georg-Kalb-Str. 3, 82049 München-Pullach).
Turning 80 only happens once, so Dave is throwing a fantastic afternoon bash in the beer garden with world-class live music. He has secured Soulmaster, Mel Canady and his band Chessboard to perform live. Come ready to listen, dance, and enjoy timeless soul classics from Bill Withers, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, James Brown, and many more!
There is no cover charge. Dave requested no presents and instead welcomes a generous tip for the band.
There is no special dress code. However, since the date is very near the Oktoberfest time, please feel free to wear something in Bavarian style.
