MISC goes Hiking (Hochplatte in Chiemgau)

MISC Goes Hiking (Hochplatte in Chiemgau).

This event is planned to be done on private basis.

We plan to organize a car pool to go to Chiemsee Area.
We will start the hike from Grassau and/or Marquartstein. 

Details:

• altitude meters: between 600m and 1.100m depending on condition and/or ambition level
• Difficulty: technical (normal); condition (medium & demanding)
• Final Destination:  Piesenhauser Alm
• Two Options abvailable:
• • Option 1: From Grassau Strehtrumpf (650m) via Hefteralm to Staffnalm (1.050m) to Piesenhauser Hochalm (1.360m) with Hochplatte (1.583m) as an option
    Ascent: 3hrs or 3,5 hrs with summit; Descent: 2,5 hrs
  • Option 2: From Marquartstein with chairlift to Staffnalm (1.050m); form there to Piesenhauser Hochalm (1.360m) with Hochplatte (1.583m) as an option
    Ascent: 2hrs or 2,5 hrs with summit; Descent: 1,5 hrs
  • Both options include a counter ascent of 100 altiude meters on way back
• Food & Baverages: several alms are available
  (e.g. Hefteralm, Staffnalm;  Piesenhauser Hochalm) 
• Mountain Bike Options available, but we intend to hike ;-)

We plan to leave around 7:00 a.m. from Munich (Option 1) and 7:30 a.m. (Option 2).  We will decide the Options in the WhatsApp Group.
