Kitesurf Weekend at Lake Garda in Italy

For experienced kitesurfers: Join us for a weekend of kitesurfing at Lake Garda.

For beginners (or less experienced): Join us for an introductory course (or further instruction depending on your level).

I've again negotiated a Discount for Ski Club members and associates on and around the last weekend of this month (July). It's up to the kite school, but the discount will probably be about 15%. Not a lot of point me duplicating information here, just check out their website. It might be German only, but you've got Google Translate and the people there speak good English:

Anleinerei kite school: https://anleinerei.de/

If you are interested:

1. Register here on the ski club website so I can let the kite school know who is from the club, and to join a WhatsApp group for the weekend (for car pooling, bungalow sharing, meeting up on the weekend, sharing photos, etc).

2. Book with the kite school on the link above!

Any problems, let me know.

Additional information

Everybody is responsible for getting themselves there and back, as well as for accommodation. However I'll create a WhatsApp group for those that register so we can car pool and share bungalows.

For accommodation I strongly recommend Camping Le Maior https://www.campinglemaior.it/ as this is where the kite school is based. They have tent and caravan spots available - the bungalows are booked out that weekend (though there's often spare beds in bungalows booked by other kitesurfers). For posh people, you can book a hotel nearby, but for the social aspect and practicality staying at the campground is recommended.

If doing a course you should plan at least to be there by 10:30 on Saturday, and it could be that you don't leave until early evening on Sunday. I'll be driving down for example at the latest on Friday afternoon and leaving at the earliest Monday.

Kitesurfing is a very weather dependent sport! If the wind does not cooperate the kite school will give you a voucher to continue your course another time. It's usually possible to arrange for alternatives, such as wakeboarding, cliff diving, pizza on the lake whilst floating in a huge inflatable unicorn, etc. However it's all up to the kite school - the ski club is simply coordinating a group event, not organizing anything further in this case.
