Oktoberfest Sunday 21st September There is a minor change this year; the reservation begins at 13:00 (NOT 12:00 as in years past). This is because the Hacker Tent is selling Frühschoppen seating this year, from 9:00 - 12:30. Since there has never been anyone in the box before noon in years past, I don't think we will be greatly affected. If you get there before 13:00 and the tables are free then take a seat (the whole box is for our group until 17:45, then we have 2 tables until closing).

Where: Hackerzelt - Himmel der Bayern (across from Augustiner) Box 11 (back of the tent), also known as the Bierzirkus, entrance N1.
When: 13:00 - please be on time, they can give away tables at 13:30 if they are not filled.

As usual, we like to meet at the fountain at Lenbachplatz (U4/U5 to Stachus then exit following the signs for Lenbachplatz) to watch the Trachtenzug. For all you Wiesn Virgins, that is a big parade with hundreds of people in traditional dress of their regions, the beer wagons, and so on. It should be coming by Lenbachplatz around 10:30. Everyone brings a bottle of bubbly (the fountain is quite handy for chilling purposes) and maybe snacks to share. I will be there from 10:00 - 11:00 and you can pick up your tickets there if you like, otherwise they will be distributed in the tent. Only people with a paid reservation are entitled to a seat in the box.

Please call Donna on (089) 470 8337 if you have questions . See you Sunday!
